The events that we have participated in together have been historical to say the least … Most have been life events.   The Austin TX car community is filled with creative, tasty, colorful individuals.

Often times in a man’s life he becomes obsessed. With an idea, a dream, an object … a woman. The obsession often takes shapes in design with metal, wood, fabric and even stone.  In the age of the automobile, we see the passion of design… and the obsession with speed.  I have tried to understand the reason behind the custom car world. What is it? Hanging on to the past? Reliving our youth? Look at me?

I don’t know for sure… But, I am guilty of all of the above and most of my fellow car guys are as well!!! We are guilty of surfing the web late at night for that … new project… the barn find. Hoping you unearth the prize of the high calling. Every so often you catch the end of the rainbow… and there it is.

I am not one to talk on the phone… much, or blab on facebook. I am in the shop working… on pots of gold, the obsession… and designs of men that came before.
